When lighting up the fire, put the firewoods in the middle of the firepit, start with a small number of smaller wood, then add more wood to the back of the firepit, help by pushing with a metal rod.
About 20% space must be left above the firewoods so that the combustion gets enough oxygen and the wood does not smolder. Filling firewood up to the ceiling of the firepit should be avoided.

Heating the sauna takes about 1.5 hours and about 1.5 baskets of wood. A good temperature is around +90°C, the thermometer can be found on the wall of the sauna. After this, add firewoods in moderation. 400kg of stone can store heat very well for many hours to come.
When the sauna is heated often, it is sometimes necessary to remove ashes from the firepit. A square metal container for ashes can be found on the terrace, and you can put the ashes from the container into the bigger round metal bucket next to it.
