Mäntyharju is the place to be when you want to get the most out of your lake-nature experience without compromising comfort. This lakeside cottage is a purpose-built unit that takes into account everything a person needs to enjoy the natural surroundings of a holiday cottage.

There is plenty of space and children have been thought of. A large play area has been created for children in a safe place, with a sliding climbing frame, trampoline and swing. The beach is also a child-friendly sandy beach.

There are even more treats for adult tastes. A large sunny lakeside patio and the possibility of open-air swimming in winter, a large outdoor jacuzzi in the main building and large picture windows in the lakeside sauna offer a real lakeside retreat.

Villa Viita also provides luxury for sleeping. We offer our guests top quality Familon pro series beds, which take into account the different heights of sleepers. Ecological and sustainable design

This is a setting to be enjoyed with a clear conscience. Environmental sustainability has been taken into account from the very beginning. Designed by an architect, Villa Viita has been built to last for decades in the midst of nature. The use of external energy has been minimised and the choice of materials has focused on long life and energy efficiency. The house belongs to energy class A.

The main building has underfloor heating and cooling with water circulation. The heating and cooling is provided by a 200 m deep heating/cooling well and a geothermal heat pump.

The eco-cottage is positioned so that the sun shines unobstructed all day, while UV-protected landscape windows and efficient cooling keep the heat out.

On top of that, the space is designed to be barrier-free, meaning that even wheelchairs can get around almost anywhere in the complex.

Villa Viita is an ecological lakeside villa

The beds can be easily combined into double beds or single beds with a fastening mechanism.

Villa Viita is ideal also for a longer stay. The living room is connected to the large open kitchen, which is ideal for dinners where food and drink are the main focus.

The audio system built into the cottage is a very high quality Genelec sound system.

However, Villa Viita is more than that. The facilities are arranged in such a way that it is also easy to find your own peace and quiet. In addition to the cosy, spacious two-storey main building, there is a terrace leading to a separate pool deck, where you can continue your evening undisturbed until the early hours of the morning.

The wood-fired lakeside sauna is handcrafted with thick aspen decking and paneling. The sauna seats 14 people at a time and the large picture windows offer a stunning view of the lake. The lakeside sauna also has its own kitchenette, toilet, dressing room and 2 showers.

The outdoor facilities are also great. There’s a private jetty to hang out on, a play area for the kids and a large gas barbecue, an EGG charcoal grill and an outdoor fire pit for those who require one.

Directly from the yard you can access snowmobile trails, cycling, jogging, berry picking and mushroom picking. The popular Keisarinlähde (Emperor’s Fountain) canoeing route runs right next door.
